Who this covers

These applications are personal tools, built and operated by one individual for their own use. They are not products, not offered to other people, and have no other users. No company operates them.

What the eBay listing tool does

It is a command-line program that creates listings on the operator's own eBay seller account from a local file and local photographs. It requests a single eBay permission, sell.inventory, which allows it to create and publish listings on that account.

What data it accesses

• The operator's own eBay seller account, and only that account.
• Listing content the operator has written: titles, descriptions, prices, item attributes.
• Photographs of the operator's own items, stored locally and uploaded to eBay Picture Services.

It does not access, request or receive data belonging to any other eBay user, buyer or third party.

Where data is held

The tool runs locally on the operator's own computer. eBay access and refresh tokens are stored on that machine and are not transmitted anywhere other than to eBay's own API endpoints. Nothing is sent to any analytics service, advertising network, or other third party. There is no server, no database and no hosted component.

Sharing

No data is sold, shared, or disclosed to anyone. The only party any data is sent to is eBay itself, in the course of creating the operator's own listings.

Retention

Tokens are held until they expire or are revoked. Access can be withdrawn at any time from eBay account settings, which immediately invalidates the tool's access.
